1. Bottom-line, I stayed in a filthy hotel room, returned home with bed bug bites on my arms, was treated disrespectfully by the staff (even after my stay), and am warning others to not jeopardize their health by staying at this hotel (even if the location is wonderful).

2. Needless to say, they sent me an apology note with wine and strawberries (I don't drink), I was charged full price for the room (~$350/per night), and subsequently have been told by my doctor that I was bitten by bed bugs while I was there and have had to sanitize all of my belongs from my stay at the Westin at Time Square.

3. The thing that disgusted me the most was the way they dealt with the whole bed bug investigation.

4. At the end, the receptionist simply gave me a ' no we didn't find any bed bugs' 2 days later when I checked out.

5. so first thing on the 12th I called up the service desk and complained about it- they promptly moved me to a different room and promise me that they will investigate the whole bed bug issues.

7. I know I am only a vascular surgeon, not a dermatologist, but I could very well tell that those bites are from bed bugs/fleas.

10. At various times during the stay I felt itching and small bites, but not having experienced bed bugs previously I ignored these episodes.
