1. My husband and I were looking for relaxation during our babymoon and we got some of it but we also got a lot of families and loud children and mediocre service at the restaurant.

8. The Banyan Tree restaurant in the hotel was very mediocre, so wouldn't necessarily recommend, we went for their special new years eve dinner and wasn't thrilled especially compared with the excellent meals we had at just about every other restaurant we ate at.

10. Re food: The Banyan Tree restaurant (on the property) is my favorite restaurant on Maui -- forget the very over-rated Pacific'O in Lahaina (it was expensive and so mediocre that the woman at the table next to us stormed out).
