2. Check-in was well intentioned but tedious, getting a taxi was a 15 minute undertaking (San Francisco challenge, not necessarily the hotel's fault but annoying nonetheless).

5. For most people I am sure this wouldn't be an issue, but for people who are allergic to pets with fur (as we are), this was a little annoying, but nothing that allergy medication couldn't address.

6. In theory, this is a good policy to protect guests, however given I had specifically added him to the reservation during check-in and spelled out his name for the front desk agent, he was a bit annoyed.

7. And leave I did, disgruntled, annoyed and not enjoying what should have been a perfect stay in what could be a perfect hotel.

8. Regis -- windows could not be opened, annoying remote electronic control device glowed brightly all night, AC blew right over the bed, room lacked iron/ironing board, toilet ran all night, privacy deadbolt wouldn`t engage.
