8. In bad weather you can access the subterranean pedestrian walkway (via the hotel concourse level) which will get you almost to Millennium Park without having to go outside.

9. I have to say after a stay in the Chicago Fairmont, I was a little disappointed in the room at the Swissotel Chicago - it was quite utilitarian, but not necessarily all a bad thing.
