1. Hotel meals a bit expensive, but it's New York and the Waldorf has such a great location, finding places to eat nearby is very easy.

2. Lovely hotel, well placed looked after from the minute we arrived,we were under no illusion that the place would not be expensive to drink/eat in and how right we were but as I was told 'this is the Waldorf sir' if you want a reasonably priced drink nip out onto 48th towards 5th and you will find a couple of Irish bars where you will be well looked after also.
"Pure decadence " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/17/2012 Vote

4. Beautiful hotel inside, great location in the city, plenty bars and restaurants nearby and a few blocks from Times Square but it is overly expensive, even for New York, and a couple of the staff could use some help with their attitude to paying guests.
"Great location but not impressed by some of the service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/13/2012 Vote
5. because of where we were located the timing was always this way so on 2 days we told them it's okay and not to clean our room (we didn't really mind, it was too inconvenient to wait for them to finish)as mentioned, food extremely expensive, and the hours are not great.
"Expensive, but Fun - minus construction " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/9/2012 Vote
6. can the full amount me applied to 1 dinner, or did it have to be used per day, since the credit was a fixed amount 'per day') Nobody seemed to know, and we didn't want to risk getting very expensive room service and having to pay it, so we just spent it at the gift shop each day so we wouldn't waste it.
