Breakfast in the lobby is expensive but there is a Starbucks by the entrance door, and if you want to
avoid
the queues (sorry- lines) go to the one immediately opposite on 5th Avenue and meet some newyorkers.

- there are many many more hotels in New York that I have stayed at for a lot less and are sooo much better.
