5. It looks so wonderful inside - but the staff were pretty unhelpful, very snooty, and they all looked very unhappy (which is always a great clue about well/badly a place is run).

6. Did the hostoric hotel tour the next morning -- tour guides were very nice and informative, but the included lunch at Oscar's restaurant (in the hotel) was pretty bad.

9. Some of corridors could do with a revamp, and double glazing wouldn't be a bad thing in the rooms to the front, there was there was a bit of a draft and noisy sirens all through the night, but thats New York.
