1. We went to the bar for a drink and appetizer before going out for dinner and when we arrived all the tables that were empty were sitting filthy with dirty glasses.

5. I know that dress code is deemed a bit outdated and elitist etc but it was the hotel who said they insisted upon it, yet any old dirty pair of jeans was fine, got a backpack and a few suitcases, that's fine too.

10. However, my one complaint is that for a hotel that was, at least for me, around $800 a night, one would think that wallpaper starting to peel at the seams, and other structural issues : the overhead beam joints on the ceiling were cracking open in several places, the bathroom also had old, ugly, dirty looking phone jack in the wall by the window, a 70's era, dingy looking push button ventilation fan that was duct taped around the seams that was on the wall near the floor by the toilet, and-- I found some weird, ugly, unused base plate for some long-time-ago mystery apparatus was on the wall in the shower.
