1. Stayed at Waldorf Astoria for 6 days 5 nights, Excellent position for Walking to to sights of New York, Staff at the hotel very helpful and obliging,we were a family of 4 sharing the room was of average size, the ensuite bathroom was not that clean and the sinks and toilet blocked on two occassions, the shower was very poor, plumber sent in and wiped the floors with towels allocated, then left them in the room, did complain, received an apology of sorts, not, in my opinion, what should be expected of the Waldorf.

5. The point is, in such a famous hotel, this is what you expect to get, but looking into details, I saw the wall paper falling apart (in the bathroom), the shower was quite small and old.

6. They tried to keep as many old features in the room, such as original (painted) wood doors but we had electrical and plumbing issues; a fuse blew out, the shower drain was clogged, the safe broke.
