1. I ate the 12$ M&M's but ended up having about 60 bucks of stuff on my bill (they were very nice about it and took it off the bill)You also cannot beat the location if you want to hang in mid-town.

2. When they subsequently applied a $20+tax per 300ml bottle charge to my bill, I took exception and brought it back to the reception desk.

3. The lobby area is full of beautiful decor, if you make your way around the the gift shop there are wonderful artefacts dating way back, including a large hand written bill for a party that happened at The Waldorf back in 1935 (don't hold me to that date I had to rack my brain but you'll see it in the cabinet if your ever near The Waldorf you should go check these things out).

4. Even with the confirmation she constanly wanted to put us in a double room, it took over 3 hours to get sorted, at one time they sent us to a room which was not only double but small and poky and not what we had booked, I was very disappointed that they could even try to fob us off with something and nothing, after we asked to speak to a manager we finally got the room type we had paid for and an upgrade which was the view and breakfast, they gave us $100 to spend on a meal whilst we waited for the room to be prepared, this was great but the bill for the meal came to more than that.

5. I had high expectations for this hotel, but found myself disappointed when I had to correct another billing issue at check out, this time an incorrect charge for the minibar, of course in the hotels favor.

10. I would have overlooked the mess-up over the twin room, but the malpractice of taking a payment from my card without notice and long after the stay was over and the bill paid is unforgivable.
