1. We did not receive our complimentary bottled water once without having to ask for it; and when we did, it took room service 30 minutes to bring up 2 bottles of water.

2. I had friends that paid about the same and stayed at the Marriott and they had complimentary newspapers, business center, etc. They ordered room service and it was resasonable.

3. We were told the business center - computers were complimentary for guest as well as a copy of the NY Times each morning when we booked our room.

6. When we checked in on April 14, the very nice woman at the front desk gave us a complimentary upgrade and we ended up with a beautiful, big, corner room on the 30th floor of the Waldorf Towers, facing uptown.

8. We asked for an upgrade on reception (told to do so by friends; normally wouldn't have the nerve) and the man on reception, who was pleasant and courteous, upgraded our room to a lovely one, large by NY standards, and gave us some complimentary drinks vouchers to celebrate a birthday.

9. Lots of little complimentary details that just helped make the trip easy, like left luggage facility on our last day, free internet for check- in and printing for boarding passes etc. will recommend time and time again thank you Waldorf form 4 UK ladies who had the time of our lives in NYC.

10. As a HiltonHonors member, we were supposed to receive 2 complimentary water bottles daily in our honor bar, but this only happened once during our 4 night stay.
