4. But if you've got a budget, want real value for money and are happy to just drop in and have a cocktail to take your photos, I'd suggest that NYC has far better places in which to stay for similar or less money.

5. ' When I complained about the toilet (and the discomfort it caused my 8-year-old), the manager was spectacularly unhelpful and, when I demanded my money back for the night, offered me a free night in the future.
"VERY Disappointing " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/4/2012 Vote
6. In my opinion the Waldorf Astoria is a great place to stay on occasion, the money spent here is worth the luxury, every now and then.

7. Internet is not free, but at least they spent some money on a generous number of power plugs mounted on the side of the desk, and each room has its own wireless hub so the speed is pretty good.
"Historic hotel copied poorly by so many others " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/5/2011 Vote
8. Not to complain about money but the drinks in the lobby bar are pricey so be ready.

10. a room with 2 double beds which were reasonably comfortable but a bit cramped for taller people there wasn't enough storage space for 3 adults, the overall impression was good but not great for the money we spent also we found it a bit far from the action & next time we would probably stay somewhere closer to Times Square.
"Beautiful old world charm but rooms could be updated " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/29/2011 Vote
