1. Seeing the sights is easy, grand central station / radio city / the top of the rock / time square, are within walking distance.

2. we did find a nice steakhouse within walking distance that was open all night that the concierge told us about, but it would have been nice to enjoy it in the hotel because their restaurant is well known.

9. The sightseeing bus stops right outside (a good idea for a first visit - top tip though, stay on the bus for the whole tour before deciding what to visit, that way you get a good idea of whats where and the distances between - New York is a BIG place to walk!).
