4. All in all a historic hotel and worth a stay but I'd recommend visiting the reception/lobby and having lunch in one of the restaurants rather than forking out for a room which are better elsewhere.

5. Bloomingdale's is a short walk from the hotel and we ate lunch at Patsy's (great coal fired pizza) After shopping we just walked, ended up at the Plaza, another historic site to behold.

8. You dont get much of a meal in NYC for $50, but not only did I get the tour but also a fabulous three course lunch in Peacock Alley.
