3. It wouldn't be my first choice to stay again as I enjoy more contemporary accommodations however it was clean, the rate was good (with my AAA card) and I had a good night sleep--so that counts for something.

8. Having stayed in many city centre 4/5 star hotels round the world, I am unable to rate the Waldorf Astoria better than average.

9. I could never afford 3 rooms like this but one at the usual rate would be a nice splurge given the excellent location (walking distance to Radio City, St Pat's etc.) The folks who worked that evening were so nice and stayed past closing just to chat and welcome in Christmas.
