8. All in all, it was a good trip and I would stay at the hotel again if I'm by myself or when I have teenagers-- but for a nice weekend of dinner, shows, and shopping with my wife, I'll stay at the Sofitel.

9. The hotel's location made it very easy for us to do everything on our itinerary, including visits to the Cloisters, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx, a Broadway show, a lovely dinner uptown, and the Staten island ferry.
