1. The library bar serves excellent drinks (very nicely poured, unusual for a hotel lobby bar) and the service is real NY friendly.

2. room service did take some time, but i suggest that you step down, and take advantage of Lindys, Stage deli, Bar and grill, molyvos, all within walking distnce, and mush cheaper.
