1. This room was not much better and I am no expert but I can be almost positive that the black beady things were bed bug larvae.

5. The positives of this hotel for us were - SUPER LOCATION, right on the doorstep of Macys, Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, clean very comfortable large bed, well-stocked bathroom, iron if needed, fridge in room.

8. The only two positives are, a) the location (but remember you're in New York, it's not a huge city, most locations will be good) and b) it is cheap (but it certainly isn't good value).

10. The only positive thing I have to say about this hotel is that it was conveniently located (but so are other hotels) and I recommend paying a little more to perhaps avoid the frustrations and disappointments that I experienced during my stay.
