1. The place is a hundred years old and by FAR the cheapest of it's location, it's only rational that the carpet and hallways were a bit outdated.

7. I have stayed in hotels the world over, I am a student so always choose the cheapest hotels i can find and i know what you get for your money -i have been to NYC before so know that for $80 you can get a rather dire room and I was prepared for all of that however, I was not prepared to be repeatedly told i had to wait to pay, that i couldnt pay yet, that i had to come back in the morning to pay etc etc -having seen the speed of service at check in I was not eager to embroil myself in that at check out, so once more i had to insist that they take my money which is an annoying thing to do when you basically have no time and do not want to spend it in a hotel lobby.
"If it was left up to the staff, I would probably still be in that queue now... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/4/2010 Vote
