1. before we left for ny we read some very bad reviews about this hotel and we were a bit worried,we never had any problems at all and worries were soon gone when we came back from a day out,are room had been cleaned,fresh bedding and fresh towels,what more could u want,ok the corridors could do with a lick of paint but we didnt sleep in the corridor.

2. The hotel staff was awesome, we checked in early, and we loved the penn 5000 lounge because it was freezing outside so we always had somewhere to get a fresh cup of coffee (it is a personal one cup coffee maker and it comes with all sorts of great coffee flavors).

I just got back from the hotel and was suprised, I stayed in a Club Penn 5000 king room and it was really comfortable, the room was a decent size and had a fridge in and a flat screen tv, room was maded up daily with fresh towels, bathroom was basic but was clean, one of the good things of staying in club penn 5000 was on the 12th floor theres a guest room with sofas, free internet and printing and also tea and coffee available, its well worth the upgrade, i didnt find any bed bugs the bed was massive and really nice, never take the stairs as there are alot of floors and when you reach the basement its a maze, the location is amazing so close to everything, i would stay here again as didnt have a bad experience.

10. To the left of the hotel is Europacafe, this was great for breakfast as they had a huge selection of fresh food which they cook on order including bagels, pancakes, and oatmeal, and the staff in here are very friendly.
