5. (What about those queues at the airport - 2 hours to check-in and pass through security? How many complaining there?)noise caused by other guests is not the hotel's fault - some people are just selfish and you get that anywhere (we had no problems).

9. the room itself was old fashioned and yes the doors are like they are from the titanic but very secure indeed, the room was roomy and pretty quiet considering you are in the middle of New York, remember the hotel has no control over noise outside the hotel which some people on previous reviews seem to have forgotten, the bed was a lovely super king with very CLEAN bedding and unlike a 4 star hotel I stayed in at Heathrow the nights before flight the hotel had a fridge,hairdryer,clock/radio,ironing board/iron etc,the bathroom was very clean with hot water when needed.
"Give the place a chance !!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/14/2010 Vote
