3. Noise level is pretty loud unfortunately b/c you are right in the middle of union square so theres lots of going ons but i personally dont mind it b/c i live in NYC and need the 'white noise', but i would ask for a higher floor if you want less noise.

5. unfortunately, I find the hotel itself as an oasis in a city of present turmoil, where there are beggars on every corner asking for money.
