2. This is another nice hotel near the BART and MUNI stations, Being someone who wants to avoid the inconvience and cost of renting a car, that close proximity is a good thing, because it's easy to travel to the airports and to my office at the civic center.

We were very happy with * Location - parallel to busy Powell St and the Powell cable street cars that go up to Fisherman's Wharf, and right near Market St and the visitor's centre, Yes, behind the building is the Tenderloin area, which we came across one night and felt slightly unsafe, but just avoid that area and it will be fine.
