3. Also if you have a connecting door like we did be aware the sound proofing is pretty terrible, on our last night we could hear a couple talking loudly mid evening and then were woken at 2am by them having a rather heated discussion.

5. After surviving an earthquake in san diego, a delayed flight, a terribly turbulant flight and then raining and cold trip to the hotel we were dropped at the lobby and before we could tell the driver we were at the wrong hotel he had driven off leaving us there stranded.

7. I should add that this hotel charges for high speed internet access, which is terribly annoying since most places offer it for free these days - and to have it be unreliable only added to the annoyance.

8. I wasn't terribly upset that they did not have my 2 doubles room because the room they put us in on the 29th floor was an upgrade of sorts, since the higher up you are, the less street noise.

10. Make sure the little vent on the bottom of the window is closed securely--we had terrible street noise the first two nights and I believe the vent may have been partially open.
