1. With that said, we must make it absolutely clear the recent blogs of guests claiming to be bitten or otherwise affected by bed bugs or other insects in our hotel, are very concerning and without documentation.

3. After stripping the bed as I always do, I noted an insect in the mattress pad (don't think it was a bed bug, but I wouldn't chance it --you're in the city--you have to expect this sort of thing); they apologized profusely and changed my room to a lovely room four times the size and gave me a coupon for money off in the restaurant.

I stayed at the Palmer House Hilton Hotel on 12/31/2010 ,after staying the night in the hotel my guest and I realized the itching we had suffered from during the night were from bed bugs ,I had bites all over my back immediately after my guest and I examined each other bodies , we contacted hotel to inform them that the room was infested ,nevertheless I spoke with security( who is responsible for handling guest incident reports ) security informed me that they would inspect the room and give me a call back however it has been 29 days and no one has contacted me back or apologized everyone is clueless.
