From leaving the hotel, turn left and before you know it WOW there it is, in the heart of times square, or alternaitvel turn right and one block over is FIfth Av and the rockefella Centre (recommend visting Top of the rock over Empire, as the views are on par, but you get the benefit of having your photo with the empire in background).

3. The Empire State, Top of the rock, Chrysler Building, Broadway, Time Square, Central Park, The Flatiron Building, St Patricks, The UN Building, The High Line walk, Bloomingdales, Macy's and 5th Ave are all within reasonable walking distance.

5. We also went to the rockerfeller centre (top of the rock) which has the best views ever, you definitely want to go there.

6. We visited several lovely restaurants the highlights being Keens Chophouse and Avra Greek restaurant (both must be booked before departure) Holiday must a visit to the Top of the rock and also a NY waterway harbour cruise.
