3. Like some other reviewers here, we also found that the refuse truck woke us up during the night, although this is a common problem in any big US city and if it had been really disturbing we'd have asked for a change of room.

4. As the hotel is so close to times square, the noise can be quite disturbing at 1am in the morning, especially if you're a light sleeper.

5. This is a problem with any of the hotels we stayed in during the trip to be fair and I would rather be disturbed a little by the noise than the whole night due to a steaming hot room without it.
