The only
downside
for us was because of the time of year (being Thanksgiving) there were a lot of foreigners in the hotel who didn't speak English.

The only
downside
we had during our stay was that we had to request extra washcloths EVERY night of our stay.

Other
downside
s include redesigned traffic flow that makes it challenging to get a taxi in front of the hotel; walk down the street to the corner rather than wait, and if you use valet parking, order your car well in advance of when you need it.

The only
downside
is the number of people around times square (compared to say the meatpacking district or uptown).

The only
downside
was the cost, but that was dictated by the time I attended (several large conferences in town as well as the opening session of the United Nations and a visit by President Obama.

The
downside
is the TV in the room, but how much TV are you watching while you`re in NY? We had it on when we came in and when we were getting ready to leave.
