1. Particularly liked Jackie Rey's, Sam Choy's, and a tiny Japanese restaurant called Teshina's.

2. We booked and ocean view room and were given a room overlooking the parking lot and construction, so we had to complain and then we moved to a view overlooking the lawn area with a tiny peekaboo view of the ocean from the side (if you squinted you eyes and tilted your head just right).

3. It's a tiny bit off the beaten path so you won't be walking to any restaurants or nightlife.

7. Also has some historical landmarks right on the property- in room safe- lots of deck chairsOther- $15/room resort fee covers free wi-fi in rooms, parking, 2 bottles of water, trolley service to town- Happy hour drink specials for draft beer & wine- Tub was a little dated, but clean (tub & toilet behind a separate door)- tiny bugs in our room, but I think that's typical of a lot of humid, beachy areasThe place seemed quiet when we were there; it's a really large place so perhaps people were out on tours all day or it was just a quiet time of year.
"Great place to stay, would return " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/28/2012 Vote
8. The room was clean, although the shower curtain smelled of mildew and there were many, many tiny bugs (ants? not sure).
