4. Our problem was immediatelyremedied when our 'ocean view double room' turned out to be a double room overlooking the car park, building works to the ramp leading to the refurbished entrance, and the tranquil waters of a bay about half a mile away.

5. Most travel agents will advise car hire to really experience the island at its best, therefore this hotels location (10 mins outside of Kona) isn't so much of a problem.

7. Beach near Outrigger is excellent for easy snorkling with the fish (lots of fish and sea turtles)Main problems is the food at the hotel was very expensive and the quality was not worth the price.
