1. The bathroom was old, with fake plastic marble on the tub/shower surround, and it was poorly maintained.

3. The room was so poorly insulated with old wooden windows, that even though we had the a/c (which smelled like mold) blasting all day and night set at 60, the room never got any cooler then 75 which is not comfortable when it is so warm and humid outside.

7. Add to this the problem of being in the room directly in front of the elevator , where we could enjoy the sounds of people loudly coming and going all day and night thru the poorly soundproofed door, and it was more than we could deal with.
