A few comments however about the hotel which disappointed:- The rooms were worn, definitely time for a little bit of TLC- At turndown we got one pair of adult size slippers and only found another pair of child size ones in the cup board - no water given at turndown- In general we were shocked by the unfriendly and unhelpful staff.

5. a 'revival' when this was one of the few sophisticated addresses in the City; today the carpets are worn out, some a little dirty, the furniture was great in the 70's and 80's, the headboards are loose, the air conditioning is noisy and some simply do not work, like the one in the room we had slept on the 12th.
