1. The restaurant is open for breakfast & lunch only which is a shame but you can eat in Harry's Bar which is on the same floor.

3. I realized after staying here that it primarily cates to foreign tourists, but shame on you for showing tourists such a dirty representation of NY at the prices you charge.

6. Everything else is a shame:- Front desk: incompetent and certainly not in line with the standard that the hotel would like to have.

7. Surely their job is to help guests?? (then you would feel they deserve the tip that you feel obliged to give them?)It is such a shame, because the hotel is in a great location.

9. I had stayed here years before, and three times at the Ritz, once before it was bought out by the Ritz Carlton (shame they tore out the old pine) and never after the Marriott, (thank God) and also at the Essex house in the 1990`s.
