1. I like the location and the large rooms? Avoid the rooms close to the elevators, they are very noisy, the others are very quiet.

3. I recommend you dont go here - definately not value for money also considering the noisy air con, the drain in the bath tup not fast enough to drain the water When you shower etc etc etc.

5. ) which I'd imagine would require a room from the 12th-15th floor up? I was surprised how noisy it was late at night from the traffic going passed Central Park - but I suppose it's the busiest City in the world.

7. if ,cracking drawers, peeling wallpaper and a bit noisy ac , dont 'frighten' you , then this Shabby Chic hotel is just for you,,,,,,,,the View - allover central park - is s u p e r b ,,,,,,,service is kind (always cheering housemaids, Leon and Danny in the beautiful, park- overlooking breakfast room shows their respect for the tradition of waiting on guests old-style, mail room's Ben is wonderful, and everywhere there are beautiful fresh flower arrangements }we'll return,,,,,,actually we already have a pre-paid reservation for next month.

8. Heathing needed to be on maximum to warm the room because the poor condition of the windows and on the 22th floor it was clearly noisy (59th street), also because the poor condition of the windows, so we did sleep with ear plots.

9. As it was very windy when we stayed, it was quite noisy in the room, but the matter got worse as we had a window that we couldn't close properly, so were kept awake with an awful whistling noise.

10. a 'revival' when this was one of the few sophisticated addresses in the City; today the carpets are worn out, some a little dirty, the furniture was great in the 70's and 80's, the headboards are loose, the air conditioning is noisy and some simply do not work, like the one in the room we had slept on the 12th.
