3. The party was in a dark, low ceilinged, no-window bar filled with bored tourist families and unfortunate musicians and stand-up comedians hired to fill the 3 l-o-n-g hours before VIP group was herded to our pen outside.

4. If you're very lucky, you'll get an amazing view of Times Square, but unfortunately most of the rooms have views into offices.

8. unfortunately our daughter was ill during our visit, the staff were so helpful, offering us an extended check out time and extra cookies to try and cheer her up.

9. unfortunately a lot of the good bars, cafes, and restaurants are more in the downtown section of Manhattan which means at least a subway ride there and back.
