1. The staff was extraordinarily helpful and friendly - a quick shout out to Tracy at the Front Desk and Hannah in the Dining Room for super service ( I recently stayed at the Conrad in Indianapolis where the service was horrible; good service can make or break a hotel stay - the Doubletree has great service.

4. We had horrible, appalling experiences the entire NYC trip, rude people, horrible dirty city with graffitti & subway stinking with urine, old trains, misinformed subway information staff which gave us wrong directions, and American Airline's Duty Manager who told us he cldnt be bothered to be nice to tourist even if it means we are helping the US flagging economy.
