Wasn't much of an issue except the odor seemed to creep into our room a little bit (through the vents?) The smoking
smell
s came and went but it kind of surprised me that the hotel staff didn't discover/notice/care about someone obviously smoking where they weren't supposed be.

Overall we had a very good stay except for one minor discrepancy, which was that our entire floor
smell
ed like someone had been smoking cigarettes in the hallway--but we weren't on a smoking floor (and are non-smokers, so it was unpleasant.

Cons: Too dark (in lobby and in bathroom), elevators are extremely small, no fan in the bathroom, hardly any outlets in the double room, potent
smell
upon entering hotel, front desk is not noticeable upon first entry.

I just kinda accepted the weird
smell

The room is spacious (for NYC), and it didn't have any weird
smell
s, which is really a first for me in NYC.
