1. Would have to say though that the lack of being able to print boarding passes, lack of consistent delivery of solid doormen services were a bit disappointing.

2. The only downfall of the room was its location and view, or lack thereof.
"Modern, swanky " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/14/2011 Vote
3. Many reviewers have commented about the lack of light; big, brash, bright and airy this hotel is not but super cool, boutiquey, romantic and just about damn perfect for us it certainly was.
"Wow! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/12/2011 Vote
4. There is a complete lack of signs in the hotel in general.

6. In brief:Negatives- poor lighting (what woman wants mood lighting in the bathroom??), poor service (who is in charge at this place? the woman sitting at the computer all day on Facebook, the guys 'occasionally' at the front door, the people hiding in the dark in the foyer consoles?), ridiculous bar prices ($18 for glass of sav blanc) lack of consistency (one minute you're greeted with kindness, the next you are ignored) cheap iron and ironing board, NO tea and coffee facilities, not a lot of great places to eat nearby (infact, none) no free wireless.
"Disappointing week in Midtown " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/8/2010 Vote
7. Room service was great but the restaurant lacked atmosphere which was no suprise as we hardly ever saw a sole in the there.

9. There seemed to be a lack of awareness as to how long we were trapped and no check to see if we were ok.
"Very hip, very chic, just watch out for the elevators! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/6/2009 Vote
10. Staff were often lacking in their presence, I guess part of the hotels charm, and so it felt you were in more of an exclusive club rather than hotel.
