1. Oh, another small thing, the offer in Booking included breakfast for no additional price so we thought: great, why not? Unfortunately, it didn't specify what type of breakfast and so when we got there, it was a continental breakfast which was rather poor.

2. The in-room IPad was cool but is outdated now, with no music on the iTunes and the restaurant recommendations including ones th no longer exist, poor attention to detail.

5. The rooms are small and suffer from particularly poor lighting, it was so dark in there we left our unpacking til the daylight hours.

7. a point blank refusal to bring any food to the room mid-afternoon for people who just got off a transatlantic light is not on & very poor service - not the staffs' fault clearly management's position.

9. In brief:Negatives- poor lighting (what woman wants mood lighting in the bathroom??), poor service (who is in charge at this place? the woman sitting at the computer all day on Facebook, the guys 'occasionally' at the front door, the people hiding in the dark in the foyer consoles?), ridiculous bar prices ($18 for glass of sav blanc) lack of consistency (one minute you're greeted with kindness, the next you are ignored) cheap iron and ironing board, NO tea and coffee facilities, not a lot of great places to eat nearby (infact, none) no free wireless.
"Disappointing week in Midtown " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/8/2010 Vote
10. The Phillipe Stark round bath looks great and that is the best thing about it, the plumbing is very poor that the water doesn't drain away leaving a deadly slippery soapy scum at the bottom.
