1. The service staff was fast, prompt and professional, never had any issues with my room and they gave great recommendations on places to go for dinner.

4. Wasn't much of an issue except the odor seemed to creep into our room a little bit (through the vents?) The smoking smells came and went but it kind of surprised me that the hotel staff didn't discover/notice/care about someone obviously smoking where they weren't supposed be.

5. My major issue was with how small the elevators were and that only 2 of the 3 elevators were working.

6. Perhaps this would not be an issue to some but I found it a tad annoying when I can't just pick up the phone and talk to a real person.

7. We had a room with the roman tub booked and found the room small ( apparently the norm in NYC and not an issue) but VERY DARK, a little window looking out to a fire escape, letting very little natural light in, even during a sunny day.

8. I wish I had been booked here before, I have been in NYC several times and find most hotel rooms very small and service, well missing, however not normally a big issue because NYC makes up for all of that .

9. The location on 44th street between 5th and 6th is quite central - which is also an issue in terms of sleeping quality: you will be witnessing to the 4 a.
