1. Stayed at the Palace for 3 nights to finish our 10 day trip to NYC - after a week in a rather noisy apartment the Palace was a dream - the most comfortable beds - we booked a cathedral view and requested a high floor - we were placed on 33 - quiet with a breathtaking view.

4. For breakfast, the New York City diner is just a few minutes walk away (turn left out of the main hotel entrance and keep an eye out for the sign) - busy, noisy, great diner breakfasts to fill you up ready for the days tourist activities, and at great prices.

5. Although there were some but very minor flaws- no in-room coffee/tea, some small children were quite noisy and running around at the towers lounge (probably parents should be more considerate of other lounge guests), one front desk staff who made some errors but were addressed at once by another 'more efficient' hotel staff.
