1. There are no rocks in the large stretch of beach in the middle, just at the ends.

9. We also stayed at the Sheraton Maui on the same trip and the room was smaller (even the Deluxe room), beds not as nice, resort MUCH larger so way more walking and not even half as nice overall even with the Kannapali Beach location and Black rock.
