In addition, Grand Wailea is also home to Spa Grande, one of the most impressive (and most
expensive
) spas in Hawaii.

The food on the resort is very
expensive
like one day we had a buffet that costed us $30 per person and the cafe is very overpriced , alos there are a lot of birds that keep flying into the food at the breakfast buffet.

The GW is a high end resort so don't expect things to be anything other than
expensive
and for it to be a little crowed during peak seasons.

Cons: Such a large resort needs better directional signage; got lost several times; I know it's Maui, but super
expensive
prices for food and drinks (TIP: Go to Cheeseburger Island Style at the Shops at Wailea for $5.

Yes, it is very
expensive
, however it is a Waldorf and you are going to pay quite a bit for that brand name.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, and given that this is a premium hotel, yes it is going to be
expensive
