1. My biggest gripes with Grand Wailea are its overpriced, lackluster restaurants and the mandatory $30/night valet parking.

2. The food on the resort is very expensive like one day we had a buffet that costed us $30 per person and the cafe is very overpriced , alos there are a lot of birds that keep flying into the food at the breakfast buffet.

3. We got a bottle of champagne redeemable only when you have dinner at one of their overpriced restaurants.

7. The food and drinks are obviously overpriced (not unexpected for this type of resort), so consider running over to the grocery store in Kihei for snacks.

8. The Bistro Molokini is overpriced and can't decide if it's a restaurant or a beach bar.
"A pricey piece of near perfect paradise for families. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/1/2012 Vote
9. overpriced drinks by the pool ($15-$22 cocktails), but I guess that's what you expect when on Hawaiian vacation.
"Beautiful Grounds... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/12/2012 Vote
10. Restaurants: the food is horribly overpriced everywhere and is despite a lunch of 2 salads no drinks coming to about $40 and two dinners with one drink hitting the $150 mark easily, the service is awful and every meal I had there including the pricey dinner at Homuhomu was at about the caliber of lunch takeout I can get around my office at home for $8-15, although I would say salads at sandwich shops near my office are much better as is the service.
