1. I am not saying I would recommend this hotel over a 3 star in the city or a HOJO, La Quinta or Comfort Suites in your hometown.

2. Bottom-line, this hotel is well suited for tourist just looking to crash while visiting the Big Apple and has all the charm of the dreadful Port Authority Bus Station located several blocks uptown.

3. A lengthy call to Expedia got us a $50 refund and loud complaining got us an upgrade to an extremely large suite, that was adequate.

6. this hotel came highly reccommended from a friend, she stayed just a few days before our arrival and was given an upgrade to a suite, so we went to the front desk with her when she checked out to change the reservation into our name, change credit card details etc..
