1. That said I'm willing to pay 3 times more & be in a less convenient location to avoid staying at the Pennsylvania.

2. We stayed here during three shows at Madison Square Garden, which is literally four feet from the hotel, really amazing location, very easy to explore the city and make it back without using any public transit, no need for taxi either.

6. Until such time as this hotel changes hands and has had a massive refurbishment of the elevator system, the rooms and the service staff, we will not consider it at any price, much less the nearly $300 a night they charge for this great location.

I have stayed at and recommended to many the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City for the primary reason that it is extraordinarily conveniently located for train travellers like me to train into the city, walk with my bags directly across the street, check in, then on checkout day, store bags at the hotel, do whatever and have a very easy trip in and out of a busy town.

9. This is the second time my daughter and I have stayed here and I have to say although I agree the rooms are tired but you dont sleep on the walls and ceiling, sheets were changed and spotless towels changed everyday staff in general friendly superb location would recomend.
