1. In the past, the Hotel Pennsylvania has provided a good value, even at Christmas time, and has had decent, if not perfect, rooms with good cleanliness, good value, good service.

6. Really good location in downtown Manhattan in front of Madison Square Garden, 2 blocks from Macy's, 2 from Empire State Building and 10 from Times Square :DIt's Old But it's really clean and good service.

7. Ps If you are after a cracking diner which is cheap then try Andrews Coffee shop near Macys on 7th Ave 5 mins walk from hotel,Breakfast of pancakes from $4.25 and great service.

9. The good stuff: the bed was comfortable and large, the shower had great pressure and was hot, the room was clean, the service was good and the location is great (over the road from Penn station and 10-15 minutes walk from Times Square).
