1. For cheaper junk food (pizzas, hot dogs, etc) you could also go to Penn Station.

2. Be aware that this area, restaurants, fast-food joints and shops, have a big ethnic variety and many of them may not be the cleanest of places nor have big worries about hygiene.

6. As an aside, we ate across the street at Harrington's Pub-good food but a bit pricy (two entrees-pasta dish and porkchops + two glasses of house wine = $70+).

8. To the left of the hotel is Europacafe, this was great for breakfast as they had a huge selection of fresh food which they cook on order including bagels, pancakes, and oatmeal, and the staff in here are very friendly.
