1. And the downstairs lobby was extremely loud when the bar was full and the bar was immediately adjacent to the elevator lobby.

6. One issue: if you're a light sleeper, there must be a fire station nearby or San Fran has a lot of emergencies as there was almost constant siren presence during the stay that was quite loud even on the 17th floor where I stayed.

7. At one point, the adjoining room door was opened on the other side and you could hear LOUD giggling and laughing, plus the door on our side was visibly shaking like a big wind gust went through.

8. I'm a light sleeper and did find that the room doors were loud when opening/closing but other than that there were no real problems with noise.

9. I sat in the bar area and it was a little loud but not crazy, just people gathering and having cocktails (it was later in the evening).

10. My only complaint is that when I was waiting for my airport shuttle on my last day in the lobby, I overheard an older male concierge loudly scolding a younger male concierge.
