I think the main two complaints I read were
parking
fees which were about $50-60 a night and internet usage for about $15 a day.

parking
is scarce and expensive in SF, but that is no excuse for (1) not accommodating guests who are paying a hefty price for the room, and (2) the unnecessary attitude.
